Hello, I’m Beth Hylton, a dedicated architect with a passion for sustainable design. I am currently a Senior Associate at Lord Aeck Sargent, based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area.

I am proud to bring over 20 years of experience in the architecture and design industry to my work, with a distinct focus on sustainable and architectural design. My career journey has taken me through various prestigious roles, including time as an Architect at GSA and a decade of service with the U.S. Department of State in roles such as Design Manager and Sustainable Design Manager.

As a Registered Architect and a LEED AP, I am certified in LEED A.P. ND, LEED A.P. BD+C, and LEED A.P. O+M. My commitment to the environment drives my approach to design, and I’m always looking for innovative ways to incorporate sustainability into my projects.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, and I believe that continuous learning is integral to professional growth. I’m also a published author, with my work ‘Second Life: OBO Puts Construction Debris to New Uses’ reflecting my interest in repurposing and sustainable design.

Architecture is more than my profession – it’s my passion. I’m excited to bring my skills, experience, and enthusiasm for sustainable design to create structures that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally responsible.
